This is a light tissue silk that has been dyed purple and then felted in shades of red and purple with fine merino wool.The colour in the photo is not accurate as it is a much darker shade with a hint of aubergine.
Dimensions 114cm x 26cm (silk was nearly 2m originally, but dyeing and felting cause a lot of shrinkage......attractively !)
